The Dean-president of the Madrid College of Economists, Juan Iranzo, has declared that on June 30th “one can now say the crisis is over because the economy is growing again” and Spain “is creating net employment and is forecast to continue doing so”.

These declarations from Iranzo came during his participation as the presenter during an informational breakfast held by Castilla-La Mancha economy Council member Arturo Romaní, which was organized by encastillalamancha.es, during which he stated that although the end of the crisis can now be called “official”, “it’s necessary to continue along the path of the economic policies” set in motion by the Government.

Iranzo made reference to the current state of Castilla-La Mancha´s account balance, saying that “miracles in the economy don´t exist”, while recalling that the region “was on the edge of a cliff” at the beginning of the legislative term.

“When faced with this situation, the region made the largest consolidation in the world; there are no other examples in a developed country of having reduced the deficit by six points,” he affirmed.
